Lane Beckes

I am currently a research associate in Jim Coan's Affective Neuroscience Lab at the University of Virginia, Charlottesville. I received my Ph.D. in psychology at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, where I worked with Ellen Berscheid, Jeff Simpson, and Chad Marsolek. My research is primarily focused on neural and affective processes in close relationships, including emotional learning in interpersonal contexts, the social regulation of emotion, and the neural correlates of emotional processes in relationships.
